Agency basics. Why do you need an agency on Upwork?
- Badge. As you may know, exclusive agency members are getting all JSS and badges from the agency. Let me put it into molecules:
- one profile which earned 10k $ is just one profile.
- would you start your profile together with an agency, your agency would be Top rated
- Would you decide to add your wife/sister/new dev to Upwork, you can turn him/her into a Top Rated just after the first contract by adding to the agency as an exclusive team member
- Money to an agency owner. Of course, if you need to withdraw money, it's better to have everything in your hands and not divided into small amounts on each account. In case you are an agency - all money from team members contracts will go to the agency(except if non-exclusive freelancer took a contract for him only).
- You can't optimise one profile into millions of niches.
WRONG:
Each account could lead maximum into two.
So more accounts = more invitations = more chances to match

- You can't subcontract from your own freelancer account. You can if it's a fixed price contract taken on an agency account. Don't want to be banned? How to delegate or subcontract work to another freelancer on Upwork?
