What you can do on Upwork, but you were always scared to

Usually I am scaring you, guys, about what you CANNOT do on Upwork. Today I've decided to give you a positive vibe😄

1. You can NOW cancel the projects purchased in your project catalog during 24 hours after purchase without any penalty to your JSS. Hurray!

2. You can move out of Upwork legally. There is a process of client's conversion.

Conversion Fee = 13.5% of a freelancer’s hourly rate x 2,080 hours (52 wks x 40 hrs)

3. You can use another language (not English) in your portfolio. Actually Upwork doesn't allow to use another language without a proper translation but you can use another language in your portfolio freely

4. You can share your contact information for NDA and project scoping even before contract starts. However, I suggest to avoid it as much as possible but Upwork allows it

5. You can change your feedback to your client too. Upwork allows it in the same way as client can do it for freelancer.
6. You can share your contact information after contract is started
7. Apply to the same job post as your colleagues. No problems at all.
8. You can be a non-exclusive freelancer in non-limited amount of teams.
9. You actually can remove a contract from your work history fully by giving a full refund (private feedback still may influent your JSS)
10. You can travel or live in another country using ID of your original country if you have other documents that will prove you are legally living in the new country.
