NDA Upwork Updates

🐘 Shik shak shock. 😱
It didn’t even take a million years for Upwork to roll out an update about NDA.

They removed the part that said “if you need an NDA before the contract - email accessibility access,”

and.... instead dropped this:

“By accepting a contract on Upwork, you automatically agree to an NDA that includes:
• all information between you and the client is confidential for both sides
• the client gives you materials (files, texts, design, etc.) so you can do the work. You can use them only for this project, and they still remain the client’s property. When the job is done or if the client asks -you must return or delete them
• after full payment, all work (except base technologies specified BEFORE the contract ends) becomes the client’s property ONLY”

I’m serious - they removed sections about NDA, GitHub, and even the email for estimates.
