You can't share any contact information on Upwork before your contract starts.

You CAAN'T share any contact information on Upwork before your contract starts!

But you can share after it's opened.

What can't you share?

• calendly tidylink etc other calendar (only Upwork calls are ok)
• your website
• behance and dribble
• too many numbers that they may consider as a phone number
• email
• cv or LinkedIn or resume
• other marketplaces
• files more than 1gigabyte
• social media links
• any portfolio cases that have contact info
• clutch
• slack, wechat etc
• crm
• asking to fill the outside form

You can share

• Your name and your company name
• links to the other websites as cases (BUT here you need to add note, that you are asking to stay on Upwork)

Exceptions

You can share the information below together with contacting accessibilitycoordinator@upwork.com to say you are doing that

Info for:

• non-disclosure agreement
• A business license
• Identifying information to confirm the right to do business with local authorities
• Background checks

If you need to share an email address to get access to systems so you can scope a project. Examples would be:

• Github/Bitbucket/Gitlab or other code repositories
• Google/Facebook or other ad analytics programs
• Quickbooks or other bookkeeping/accounting programs
• Cloud drive folders
• Online e-signature programs
• Website host or builders
