Where are all your old not closed leads?
Yo! Finally I am writing this article! So I will ask you a question:
❔Where are all your old not closed leads?
❔Did you check did they hire anyone?
❔Did you check did they grow? In Linkedin? ProductHunt? Anywhere?
❔Did you at least ask them why didn't they hire you?
I think 99,9% of you are putting your eyes down and saying "no".
If so, let's discuss.
First of all, why do you need that?
- If you see that most of hires were cheaper than you proposed than: a. you can improve your ICP OR b. you can recheck your market price
- If you see that most of hires were more expensive than your estimate/check/rate then the problem is obvious - you were not able to negotiate and close normally
- If you see that mostly they are not hiring at all, then you can use it to understand the type of a client who never hires.
- Maybe they hired someone else but already now they are posting a similar job again. But you have a message room! Come on!
and these are only a few analytical moments that you can find out from the research.
How to analyse?
Easy peasy!
Come to the initial job posting and check stats
If there are hired/hires then go down and find who was hired for this post
For example,
You also can click on a hire freelancer and check how his profile look like. Maybe he looks more impressive than you?
Start doing that and you will be amazed how much useful info you can get.
