Why do you need an agency? Basics
If agency is not counted in algorithms, then why do I need an agency?

Badges
Agency also could have JSS (Job success score) and Badge (Could be Top Rated, Top Rated Plus or Rising Talent)
Team members could be exclusive or non-exclusive. More about it here.
Non-exclusive members will have their own JSS and badges.
Exclusive members after any first contract will have the agency's JSS and badges.
So let's imagine:
Exclusive member earned 5$ but already Top rated and 100% JSS
Non-Exclusive - earned 999$ - nothing.
Legal aspects
You can't subcontract jobs unless they are under the agency.
So with Agency you can do that:)
Also you will be able to send bids (proposals) under the name of other team members when you are going to be in the same team.
You also can't be cto/ceo/developer/designer at the same time
Reputation
The year of creation, the number of hours, and the amount of money earned will help you to build a trusted picture, especially for enterprise clients😄
