Okay, so 2 weeks ago one my course student OLe OLe (hello!) recognized this feature first but I was not sure it's going to be live. Now, I've found it personally.

So what is the instant interview? It's 5-10 mins interview that you pass with UMA to match with the job and be hired. Intersting, that it could be required or not. Also, if it's not required, you can submit the proposal with connects. Ibstant interviews are free.

You are exactly passing this video intro with UMA and she (I like to think she is a female) analyses your proposal from this interview and recommends (or not) you to client.

You also will be able to add notes after intervie is done
You cannot re-submit it
Upwork suggests to have a few relevant projects ready to be shared during this interview
English only

Sent threatening or abusive messages
