New "fun" ban reason on Upwork for 2026 - ban because you were chatting too quickly.

Upwork is insane and their autoban system is scary. I was quite sceptical about the following tool until the guys have shown how did they set it up.
So the new tool is like a separate chat tool where you talk to your leads and can scroll, message, and send follow-ups in whatever amount you need.
On a real Upwork they send requests to the backend like a hell. This tool works through the API.
Who will be a sender?
the best part of it: this tool CAN send messages from YOU or from the name of freelancer you want it to be sent:)

You can add your own one or rent it (for money of course)
And the best part is that is in case you are an agency, your sales person doesn't need to switch in between accounts anymore.
If you just want to try and you are okay with BM sending messages - then it's also okay and cheaper

Follow-ups problem
Recently, I made two tests with follow-ups strategies with my Ukrainian Top Rated Club. For 3 days we send normal follow-ups to 240 leads. 42 ghosted leads replied during the first week, 2 contracts were made right away. Totally we were able to talk to 40% of ghosted people!
Maybe, we even took your lead back to us, who knows😄

But we are not dumbs, right? What if he answers but messages are scheduled? The system won't send the next one if he replies:)

If you don't know how to talk normally, AI can do it instead but I am not a big fan.
They already have AI auto-pilot which can talk instead of you BUT I wouldn't do it yet. I'll wait until others will test it more:)
