- One query optimisation.
You optimized for just one search query (level 1) and you don’t realize that single standalone words don’t bring you anything anymore. Optimization can be done for more than 1 query.
- You optimized for every word, but you turned the whole thing into the porridge. Of course, you want everything! You want to be a designer, qa, seo, upwork consultant etc.
- You’re not moving thorugh the talent search. You don’t get where you should rewrite text and where you should add something new. You don’t follow Upwork’s hints.
- You decided: why do I even need bidding OR why do I even need the catalog? I don’t sell fixed-price! Let the $20 people sell there! That’s not how Upwork works. It’s a huge funnel. To win, everything has to work. Consultations too.
- You generate leads, but you don’t think why don't you win them. No CRM, no stats, no lost reasons. Okay, already many leads. Why don't you close them? and Where are all your old not closed leads?
