Updates for the May 2025 we are facing on Upwork
Long story short - updates that we are facing for the last couple of weeks.
- Projects are back. Hurray. I saw that some clients had it but mostly they were not appearing for almost 2 months
- Specialized profiles are still not visible/not matched with jobs
- Fees are changed but strangely. For some categories and seems they are going to put the 15% fee categories manually. Right now it's for all Support and Writing
- Project catalog got related queries and suggestions
- Agency owner doesn't have a button to change his exclusiveness now (bug)
- Many client's payments got rejected and clients are banned too.
- Complaints about many $1mln+ clients who post jobs but never reply
I even found the chain on Reddit about the same issue
- I forgot, did I write already that not you can turn on the availability badge from Agency connects? I think it's a bit elder news.
