When you have already optimised your profile on Upwork. How to get MORE invites? Article for my PRO readers&students:) + memes
Hey-hey! I wanted to make this article in a more relaxed way for me. This time I want to give an additional pro tips for my often readers and students who have already made all optimizations and are seeking more leads. So I'm going to use more terms from previous articles.
So, you are already on the first page but there are not so many invitations. What to do?
Make the traffic wider.
You remember my tip about ONLY CHOOSE ONE ONE! ONE request for a talent search? Now it's time to choose the second and the third ones.
Make the same actions for talent search: keywords in each section (at least three times) but:
- the second and third one will go next to the first one in title
- don't change consultations
- don't touch certificates
- don't touch top 15 green skills
That's how you will be on the first pages for two more requests.
Pro tip: the 2nd and 3rd requests should be more nichy than the first one as the weight will be not enough if it doesn't match with skills/consulting/certificates
Green skills one more trick
So remember how you were choosing green skills? New suggestion:
- Take all green skills from your main request (will be around 30)
- Take all green skills from 2nd and 3rd
- Check what green skills are in common
- Put as many in common as possible but from the first green skills list (so 1st request will be fully green)
Make the traffic wider and niche
So we already worked on main requests. Let's try to put you into the specific requests. Make a research of requests (talent serach). Put as many niche ones into Employment history and portfolio items. That's how you will start receiving specific invitations
