Why this guy with 0 earnings is higher than me in bids? Surprise!

Surprise! Uma is here again:)

By analysing 14 job posts bids, I saw that right now 0 earnings profiles are also in the best match sometimes. It was strange as we have best match algorithm based on skills and work history

So after analysing these profiles, the only inyteresting thing was that they were using the same way of describing their profiles - skills and keywords like in my job posts + achievements

It's always the same on Upwork, their algorithms are not so new, they are going in rounds. Remember Upwork UMA started reading your client's feedbacks or Cover letters she wants to read: how UMA decides if you're a fit
