How to spot fake or test jobs on Upwork + antikeywords
Hey hey! I just ran a Telegram channel for Ukrainians and I've asked for new articles ideas and here we are.
I'll try to structure fake/test jobs characteristics so you can try to clean up your search or Gigradar.
I want to mention that it's just my opinion and some of these jobs could be real.
Client has no hires but a lot of jobs posted
This one is obvious. Try to set your hire rate to either mide to max or new clients. Yes, I believe new clients are okay to bid on.

The client is using Upwork AI and hasn't added any specific details at all. 100% if the budget is placeholder.
Compare.
Today from Upwork

I am faking:

- All letters are capital
- No specific details
- Placeholder money: 5,99,100 dollars
Unrealistic budget
Ukraine, 35k, no interviews....okay okay, sounds real.

Avoid things in life which are too good to be truth (except my blog :) )
Consultation only, audit only but THEN WILL BE A BIG PROJECT of course!
These kind of jobs done to promote freelancers-friends. If you see that job title contains a lot of juicy great keywords but Consultancy, consulting, consultation, audit word added - probably a job for a friend
But if they say also, that it is just a start, will be more jobs - of course, it's a fake one.

Too many keywords without any sense in title
Wow, I even found an example with the direct slash:) like in our beautiful titles:)

Fake because no one is writing like that.
Client is asking to fill the form with contact details
